Lauren Cuevas, MEd (they/she) are a sexuality educator, researcher and freelance writer currently serving as the STOP IPV Program Coordinator of Students Talking About Relationships (STAR), a peer-led Teen Dating Violence education program. The research and implementation are completed by collaboration between the Center for Violence Prevention at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and Lutheran Settlement House.

Their primary interests are in sexual health recovery, pelvic pain, and indigenizing sex education. Their professional experience ranges from K-12 social-emotional learning to abortion care, and Queer-focused journalism. Her long-term goals are to continue research in sexual health recovery or become a pelvic floor physical therapist.
