Jody Thigpen, LCSW is a social worker providing intensive case management and therapeutic services to assault injured youth in the Violence Intervention Program.
Jody Thigpen, LCSW serves as a Violence Prevention Supervisor for Children's Hospital of Philadelphia's (CHOP) Violence Intervention Program, part of CHOP’s Center for Violence Prevention. In this role, Jody provides support to youth who have experienced a violent incident with intensive case management services for youth and their families who have come through CHOP's Emergency Department.
Jody’s past experience includes working in education settings supporting youth to succeed in school and graduate. She is passionate about supporting youth that have experienced trauma in their healing process and advocating for social justice.
