Carson Kipp (they/them) is a Violence Prevention Specialist at the Center for Violence Prevention (CVP) at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). They began their career in community organizing with the North Bay Organizing Project, where they helped advance campaigns for public transit access and social equity for youth across Northern California. 

For over a decade since, Carson has worked in social services and behavioral health, supporting children, families, and adults through trauma-informed and equity-centered care. Their experience spans case management, developmental disability services, and crisis response, earning recognition from Philadelphia's Department of Behavioral Health for excellence and compassion in client support in 2024 for their role as a Supports Coordinator with Quality Progressions. 

Carson is currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration at West Chester University with a concentration in Nonprofit Administration to further their commitment to creating inclusive spaces that empower communities and promote safety, healing, and belonging.
