Lea Pandy is a Communications Associate for the Center for Violence Prevention (CVP) and the Center for Injury Research and Prevention at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP).
Lea Pandy is a Communications Associate for the Center for Violence Prevention (CVP) and the Center for Injury Research and Prevention (CIRP) at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). In this role, Lea is responsible for supporting internal and external communications strategies and activities for CVP and CIRP. This includes coordinating logistics, planning, and execution of in-person and online events, cultivating relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and disseminating information about research, education, and programming to key audiences through print and digital collateral. She also coordinates public relations for CVP and strategizes internal communications for CIRP.
Lea received her bachelor's degree in Music from the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University where she studied clarinet. She went on to cultivate fundraising, event management, and communication experience through her previous work for nonprofits committed to providing youth with equitable access to music education. Lea is thrilled to bring her commitment to supporting youth in the community, as well as her creative communications expertise, to her work with CIRP and CVP.
