Lindsey Mitros is the Associate Director of Communications for the Center for Injury Research and Prevention and Center for Violence Prevention at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Lindsey also serves as the Manager for CHOP/The Ohio State University's Center for Child Injury Prevention Studies.
Lindsey Mitros is the Associate Director of Communications at the Center for Injury Research and Prevention (CIRP) and Center for Violence Prevention (CVP) at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). In her role, Lindsey is responsible for overseeing the execution of strategic, translational communications activities designed to extend research findings, program outcomes, and recommendations internally and externally. She develops and maintains productive stakeholder relationships, develops communications plans and leads their execution, works with Center leadership to identify communications opportunities to support Center-wide goals/priorities, and oversees day-to-day activities and operations for CIRP's broader communications team. Lindsey also manages the Center for Child Injury Prevention Studies (CChIPS), a child injury research consortium focused on advancing the safety of children and adolescents co-hosted by CHOP and The Ohio State University.
Prior to joining the Center in 2009, Lindsey worked as a public relations professional at a Philadelphia-based advertising agency.
