Elena Daniel serves as Clinical Research Coordinator II for the Center for Violence Prevention at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
Elena Daniel serves as a Clinical Research Coordinator II at the Center for Violence Prevention (CVP) at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). In her role, she conducts study visits, community outreach, data collection, participant recruitment, and qualitative interviewing. Offering coordination support across multiple projects at CVP, Elena demonstrates her commitment to targeted violence intervention and prevention strategies for the families and children of Philadelphia.
Prior to joining CHOP, Elena served as a Resource Mobilization Officer in Eswatini. There she developed grant proposals for interventions targeting critical health challenges, including HIV/AIDS, cervical cancer, and gender-based violence. Her diverse background also includes serving as a COVID-19 Case Investigator & Contact Tracer in Los Angeles County and as a research coordinator for a longitudinal study investigating the impact of schoolyard greenspaces on the physical activity and social behaviors of LAUSD schoolchildren. In each role, Elena consistently shows her dedication to creating healthier environments and sustainably addressing the unique health needs of communities.
