James Alfano, PT, DPT, PCS has worked as a physical therapist at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia since 2012. He has experience working in various pediatric physical therapy settings and currently works in the Adaptive Equipment Clinic and the Sports Medicine and Performance Center. In 2016, he obtained his board specialty certification in Pediatrics from the American Physical Therapy Association.

James Alfano, PT, DPT, PCS has been employed at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia since 2012. He joined the CHOP Sports Medicine Department in 2018 and currently works at the Sports Medicine and Performance Center at the Buerger Center. 

He has gained experience in both the general outpatient and acute care physical therapy teams. This experience enabled him to obtain his board specialty certification in Pediatrics from the American Physical Therapy Association in 2016. 

James' clinical interests include treating basketball players and runners, helping athletes prepare for and optimize their sports performance after injury, and utilizing his expertise to promote health and wellness through sports participation, as well as assisting athletes in returning to their sport safely.
