Kimberly Sterner-stein, MSW, MPH is a public health social worker with more than 20 years of clinical social work experience at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. In this role, she worked with patients and families in the Dialysis and Renal Transplant Program and with living kidney donors, and supervised graduate-level social work interns. She later worked for Bridges to Wealth, a non-profit organization based within Penn’s Netter Center, where she coordinated financial literacy and entrepreneurship programming with community partners throughout Philadelphia with a focus on closing the wealth gap. This experience informs her work as Program Coordinator for the Gun Safety Program in the Center for Violence Prevention.
