Shaneeka Monroe M.Ed currently serves as a Family Advocacy & Support Supervisor for Children’s Hospital Growing Resilience in Teen’s Program (GRIT)/ Family Advocacy Support Program (FAS).

Over the past 10 years Shaneeka Monroe MEd, has worked extensively with youth in a variety of settings. She has worked in education where she was an Autistic teacher and Behavioral Health where she served as an IBHS (Intensive Behavioral Health Support) Mobile therapist, and a Family-based Therapist. Shaneeka Monroe has training in Trauma Informed Practice as well as training in the Sanctuary Model.

Shaneeka Monroe works exclusively with youth who have been exposed to trauma and are part of the CHOP Primary Care Network, promoting physical and emotional healing while helping youth as well as families begin to feel safe after experiencing trauma.
